Confusion on attending Inaugural

Postby merilono » Fri Nov 14, 2008 4:16 pm

Can we get someone to clarify how the inagural day events will be organized. I don't think I will be going out on a limb to say that there will be many people without inauguration tickets. Does that mean a person without a ticket will not be able to attend the inaugural? Or does this mean that they will not be close. In addition, I have emailed my house and senate representative to get on there list for tickets. I've even emailed the representatives from my home state and states that didn't vote for the President Elect to try to get tickets. I think there are many confused people out there on exactly how this will work. Can anyone help?

I think those are all good strategies, as best I can figure out. I don't know if it will be possible to be on the National Mall and see anything (on a giant TV or with binoculars) that you wouldn't see better on TV. Of course, you'd miss the excitement of being there.
